Pre-School Preparation Programme

Our Pre-School Preparation Programme is available in Russian, Azerbaijani, and English sections. Kindergarten

The BMEC family has two kindergartens: Modern Kids Academy and Baby Plaza Kindergarten, both providing a safe, nurturing, and high-quality early childhood education environment. The main difference between them is age admission — Baby Plaza Kindergarten welcomes children from 6 months of age, while Modern Kids Academy serves preschool-aged children.

Working Hours

5 days a week — from 8:00 to 18:00 (from 18:00 to 18:30 a duty teacher is on site). Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are non-working days.

Grades 1-5
Primary School

Our academic program follows the Cambridge curriculum and is designed to develop strong academic performance, critical thinking, and creativity in students. Through the Extended Day Program, students remain at school for longer hours, where they complete their homework on campus.

English Section (Grades 1–2)

Grades 1–2 focus on building core academic skills while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and confidence. Students learn in an engaging environment that supports their intellectual, social, and personal development.

Russian-Azerbaijani Section (Grades 3–4)

Designed for students aged 8 to 10, learners build confidence, strengthen their academic foundation, and develop critical thinking skills through an engaging and supportive learning environment, following the Cambridge curriculum.

Curriculum

BMEC provides education through three learning sectors: English (Cambridge Curriculum), Azerbaijani, and Russian (National Curriculum of Azerbaijan). Students also benefit from the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), which encourages inquiry-based learning, collaboration, and the development of essential life skills.

Assessment

Assessment is an integral part of the learning process. We use a variety of methods — continuous feedback, class activities, projects, and examinations — to monitor students' academic progress, evaluate their understanding, and support individual development.
Grades 6-8
Middle School

The Middle School at BMEC provides students with a strong academic foundation while supporting their personal growth. Our curriculum encourages creativity, collaboration, and independent learning through engaging lessons, project-based activities, and a supportive environment.

English Section

Follows the Cambridge Lower Secondary curriculum, developing critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and research skills. Prepares students for a smooth transition to the IB Diploma Programme.

Russian & Azerbaijani Sections

Follow the National Curriculum of Azerbaijan, providing students with a strong academic foundation and balanced education, focusing on core knowledge and critical thinking.

STEM & Innovation

Hands-on projects, coding, robotics, and problem-solving activities that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration using digital tools and real-world applications.

Assessment

A combination of formative assessment (classwork, quizzes, projects, presentations) and summative assessment (unit tests, exams, end-of-term evaluations) to measure progress and support growth.
Grades 9-11
High School

A modern, student-focused learning environment for students aged 15–18, aimed at academic excellence and strong preparation for higher education.

Cambridge IGCSE

An internationally recognized qualification providing a strong academic foundation. Students study Mathematics, Sciences, English and Humanities, developing solid subject knowledge and independent learning.

Cambridge AS & A Level

An advanced academic pathway for students preparing for university. Students choose subjects according to their interests and study them in greater depth. Recognized by leading universities worldwide.

IB Diploma Programme

An internationally recognized pre-university program for students aged 16–19. Students study a balanced range of subjects and develop critical thinking, research and independent learning skills.
