18 March is the day of commemoration for the martyrs of Çanakkale.

Azerbaijan also contributed to this victory. During the Çanakkale battles, thousands of Azerbaijanis supported Turkey, their brothers. The Azerbaijani people provided Turkey with material and moral assistance, while thousands of Azerbaijanis took part in the Çanakkale War and were martyred heroically, demonstrating great bravery.
