Taylor McCarey has joined the international teaching team at Baku Modern Educational Complex as a History Teacher and Head of Humanities. Originally from Canada, he brings 15 years of international teaching experience from South Korea, Italy, Colombia and Russia.

Mr. McCarey has extensive experience with the IB Diploma Programme, MYP, Cambridge and A-Level curricula. He holds an MSc in History from the University of Edinburgh, as well as qualifications from the University of Windsor and Southern Cross University.

His experience and focus on critical thinking, conceptual learning and global-mindedness will contribute valuable expertise and perspective to BMEC students.
